[edit] The Start
Grekan wasn't quite my frist character on prophecy, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I started playing prophecy in around October of 1999. I was about to turn 14 and I had just finished off the Polgara book a few months before. I didn't really know the guy using the locker next to me, we didn't share any classes, but one day I noticed the very same book in his locker, and I asked him about it. He turned me on to prophecy pretty fast, he came over one day and set up the free version of zmud and away I went. I had some other character starting with G but I didn't know what I was doing and I starved to death several times and forgot my name and stuff. So I tried again and made Grekan, and I've never really left that name since, with one exception. I still have images of my frist few times on prophecy seered in my head. Names like Lyrad, things like Santa's Glasses and a Hell that contained a nuclear reactor and Homer Simpson. My friend, Mykola, or Zerien, Slith, Thak, and some other names that I still see around sort of taught me the ropes, but mostly he struck bad deals with me, and lied to me. He tried to make himself seem more powerful than he was. He was a habitual liar in real life and on the mud. Not to bash him, he's part of the reason I've been here so long. He's long gone, but his lies inspired me to do what he lied about. He claimed to have building the Isle of Riva, so when I became a builder and found that to be false, it was my frist area. And so on, he claimed to have ins with the imms.
- Fun Lie: He told me Belgarion would give you an Orb of Aldur (like 1000/1000 hd, -1000ac, etc etc holdy) if you gave him $1000 US.
[edit] The Middle
The middle is a little hazy, I'm not sure of the order of events anymore. I remembers friendships with people like Xarella and Nalar inspired me to be a Shepherd, and I did eventually fufill that goal with Grekan. Sometime between pre shep and becoming a Shep I introduced my internet girlfriend of the time to the mud. We had met through a chat room long defunct at TalkCity. I paid my then still friend Mykola 2qps to set up her character Xambella (a knock off of Xarella because I looked up to her) because I was afraid I'd screw it up and didn't know enough. I thought it was hard. Anyways her name was Kristen if that rings any more of a bell. She later cheated on me with some mud dude, and then cheated on him with the old Cinis, Elvis Matt, and then moved onto other mud guys. She worked her way into the Flordia mudding crew and I lost track after that. Many of you may know what I'm talking about, some of you won't, I don't want to go further into it other than that, but yes I seemed to have unleashed wave after wave of heart break on the mud.
After being a Shepherd on Grekan I... think I joined GoW with Grekan and Erepitus and Asmodai and Talsharr and Deos etc etc, in the glory days of the GoW. I was never good at pk, but that didn't seem to matter and I rose to Rank 1 under Mortiris and Asmodai. At some point I got really drunk and deleted Grekan and what I had achieved through lots of hard work with him. Mostly just some small qeq and a full set of old aqeq. I think thats when I made Thurl my main character and joined Shepherds, again, under Xerkar I believe. Seems like I was apt to jump in where the clan action was hot at the time. Well eventually that went bust and Xerkar (I'm pretty sure that was his name) went MIA. At that point clans had changed and Mortiris my old GoW buddy was starting up Adventure. So I joined Adventure as a teacher with Thurl, working with Collenia and others. Thats when I really came to befriend Talsharr and I ressurected Grekan to join/help start KoP (Then [CWA] The Fraternity). If I recall correctly I had a rather small role in creating it, I think I may have just dumped the money I got from GoW shutting down (about a million) into The Frat. Like I said it's all a little hazy. Lets skip ahead.
[edit] The Later Days
I stayed in Frat a long time, a long time after Talsharr left and many others. I weathered the changes in Admin and mud climate. I eventually became Over Lord of CWA. It needed a revamp so hence, KoP and a couple of other little changes. I did a few things getting into power or to retain power I'm not necessarily proud of, and I won't go into details. If Tindamir ever reads this, he knows, I'm a bastard, and I can't deny it, but so were you. Also I'd like to thank Talsharr for my quest eq, I inherited some of it when he left and I would never give it back now, heh, I've traded, sold exchanged and kept so much of it, without it I wouldn't be the buff Grekan you all know and kill.
I eventually retired from Over Lord and handed over to Traxel. Which lead to other roles which many of you know about, and I won't elaborate on. And as of today I'm trying to resume my old position as Over Lord of KoP. I hope I suceed. I miss it, I miss the clan I put so much into. I know I was abscent for a while, and I've left that out (6-7 months) but I'm back baby! And It's good to be back! And it means learning how to use Wiki. Hehe.

My name's Mike, I'm 23 and I work in a bookstore in Toronto in Canada. I like to read, watch TV, play Prophecy, Counter Strike/CS: Source, hang out with my hot girlfriend Heather (whom I live with), and smoke pot. I also smoke disgusting cigarettes so watch out for my breath. All of this is pretty much readily available knowledge if you search the net enough or know me really. Maybe I'll post a picture soon. Oh yeah, I've also lived in B.C., Alberta, Ontario (various places), Quebec, and England (Wiltshire [County That Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral is in]). I've traveled most of Canada and key Western European Countries. All this was quite formative into the character I am now, that and my artist mother and my military father. I'm an army brat and proud of it.
