In 1998, while I was in the eighth grade, I could either play basketball, soccer, or be in the computer lab during lunch, so I hung out in the lab and played Sim Tower. There I was introduced by Allan, Jeff, and Alex to Prophecy. My first character was Athena, but I didn't make Mortiris until a year or so later. Mortiris was originally a really awful Tolnedran legionnaire who I then PKset just to figure out what PK was. Erepitus stole my quest bag (that was the first thing I won), so I thought I had to kill him and joined GoW. Then I found out Erepitus was in that clan anyway so I couldn't kill him. He doesn't even remember what he did with the damn bag, the bastard. So I learned how to PK on telnet without color. Sophomore year is when a friend made my first computer and that's when I started playing Prophecy a lot because I had a computer in my room. Then I started using JMC because I didn't have the money to pay for zMud. I made Resnar and he was a Cherek thief. He was my first good character, a mid-level PK character. I kicked ass with him. I was killing everyone. I remade Mortiris into a Sendarian sorcerer. I leveled him to 91 PKset unlike those wimps that level to 91 before PK setting. I really sucked at PKing a sorcerer. Eventually I became mediocre and gained OLship of GoW. After a while, I left to take a break. I came back and it was around the time they were going to take out the clans and only make player clans and the Immortals were gracious enough to let us unPKset, so I unPKset Mortiris and then a few of my friends and I founded Adventurers! We founded Adventurers because Shepherds, at the time, were too stuck up to let newbies in the clan. Adventurers took off after a month or so of collecting funds and we began getting tons of newbies, TONS! As we worked with the newbies and made them into decent players, eventually they all hit level 91 and those were very fun times because we got to run around and do miniquests and rareloads with 5 or 6 level 91 characters. I miss having lots of newbies to make the MUD more enjoyable. I took another break and stepped down from Lordship of Adventurers and later started dating a girl who convinced me to start playing seriously again (it wasn't very convincing) and that's when Maeyja/Aewyr came to the MUD. Then Raife was born because I wanted to PK a warrior. Everyone said warriors sucked and I wanted to prove them wrong (they were right). New aquest equipment came out and I was able to kick some ass. Then saves changed and now I suck again.

I met my mud lover, Cyras, when we were both leveling our PK characters. We were in the same range and on all the time. He was an Angarak and I was a Guardian. Needless to say, the Guardians smite down their foes. One day one of my friends gave me a Thrice CD, I'd never heard of them before. As I was playing, I was listening to their CD. As Cyras was singing, he'd sing lines and ten minutes later I'd hear the same lines in the music I was listening to. Eventually the songs caught up to each other and we had a wonderful duet of Thrice. Then I asked him to marry me but Immortals said gay marriage was not RP. Now he kicks my ass at PK.

Porenn got pissed at me because I got nochanneled and then I charmed a mob to ooc "Why did you nochannel me Porenn?" Then they made it so you couldn't use mobs to talk on ooc.
Realsteve aka Senthas and I made characters named Thing1 and Thing2 and were running around speaking in Dr. Suess lexicon. The Immortals didn't like that. We got sitebanned for 24 hours.
Talsharr and I looted a hostel key from a PKer and went in and looted a hostel room. The Immortals decided that wasn't allowed anymore, so we had to give it all back.
I used to charm people and qpgive me quest points from their score just so I could laugh at them. Then I gave them their QPs back.
Raife and Maeyja had an Elvis wedding performed by Brill, then got a divorce like most people who get married in Vegas.
Adventurers was named after Allan and Alex because they called their hostel Adventurers Incorporated.
One time Ariana was holding scavenger quests and she didn't no_locate the scavenger items so a friend and I located them all and collected enough scavenger items to get 60 QPs.
We used to equip mobs and have charm mob fights in Sendar when we got bored. That's still fun to do.

My real name is Stephen (sometimes Fakesteve) and I'm 22 years old. Currently I'm finishing my AA degree at Clark College and then I will be transferring to Westminster College in SLC, Utah to major in psychology and minor in management. I work as a personal assistant to a filthy rich land developer, but once I move, I'll be mooching off my parents. I have a strange love of poker and watching TV shows on my computer. I play the guitar, I used to be in a punk band (Issus likes my music), and I read.
